PENN specializes in providing laundry and Linen Rental services for Medical Treatment Facilities & Hospitals. PENN has been operating full service hospital laundries since 1991 and has extensive experience in providing medical laundry service.

Hygienically Clean laundry is our focus! PENN’s laundry facilities incorporate a “design for asepsis” whereby clean linen does not come into contact with soiled linens nor share the same physical space, thus avoiding cross-contamination or reintroduction of bacteria once processed. Procedures are in place to ensure that soiled linens, and the air around them, never come into contact with clean linens. This is accomplished in two ways: through the use of a physical barrier between the area where soiled linens are received and fed into pass thru washers and through a system of positive and negative pressure which controls the movement of air in one direction only from the clean side of the barrier to the soiled area. In no case shall clean and soiled linen share the same physical space. All work is performed under sanitary conditions as specified by the Joint Commission of Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). PENN is in compliance with all appropriate ALM, DLI, TRSA, JCAHO, FDA, OSHA, VA and other regulatory agencies requirements.
